We invite you to join us for an in-person memorial for Ron Julian at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 7, at Grace Community Fellowship (989 Country Club Rd in Eugene).
This will be an informal memorial, so dress as you wish. (Ron hated ties, and the last thing he would want is to make people wear them who don’t want to!) The memorial will start with a service where friends and family will share about Ron. After the service there will be time for people to mingle and share their memories in smaller groups.
If you would like to share something about Ron publicly during the service, we invite you to do so. We are going to plan out the schedule of presentations ahead of time, so if you would like to share, please email Brian Julian at boethiusconsoled@gmail.com by August 2 at the latest.
Finally, a (hopefully last) word about Covid: Oregon no longer requires masks or capacity limits, and Grace Community does not have any restrictions, either, so there will be no requirement for people to wear masks at the memorial. At the same time, we know that some people are still apprehensive about public gatherings, especially with the Delta variant spreading, so if you feel more comfortable when wearing a mask, please know that you are welcome to do so.
